Need a hand? Start with the FAQs below, or reach us directly at support@trippy.social.

How does Trippy detect my trips?+

With your permission, Trippy reads the time and location metadata attached to photos in your library and groups them into stays and suggested trips. It never adds a trip to your account until you confirm it, and it doesn't upload your photos.

Do I have to log trips manually?+

No. Most of your history appears automatically from your photos. You can also add, edit, or remove any country, city, trip, or leg by hand whenever you like.

Is my travel data private?+

You control it. Each trip has a visibility setting — private (only you), friends (people you've added), or public (anyone on Trippy) — that you can set when you create or edit the trip. New trips default to friends, so they show up in your friends' activity but not to the wider public. Automatically detected trips stay private until you confirm them, and estimated routes are always private to you.

How do friends and shared trips work?+

Send a friend request by username, and once accepted you can compare globes and invite each other into shared trips. Shared trips can hold multiple travelers, each with their own legs and stops.

How do I delete my account?+

Open the app and go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data (trips, visits, routes, friendships, and profile). If you need a hand, email privacy@trippy.social from the address on your account.

Which devices are supported?+

Trippy is an iOS app and uses Sign in with Apple. Make sure you're on a recent version of iOS for the best experience.
